Rough Cut Men Conference

The Rough Cut Men Conference was a live men’s event that used a combination of action movie sequences, current events, Biblical truth and discussion times with a single objective: to connect men to other men, and to Jesus. Men from multiple churches gathered at the Snead State Fielder Auditorium for a two day conference. Each day the men participated in a time of worship led by Don Blakeney, worship pastor at Albertville First Baptist Church, and heard from speaker David Dusek, founder of Rough Cut Men Ministries.

David Dusek challenged the men to meet regularly with another man to encourage each other, hold each other accountable, and to pray with each other. The fact is that most men today have hundreds of acquaintances and no real friends. The Bible says that we should “Pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up”. Men need to be back-to-back with another man in order to be victorious in the battle for men’s souls.
